It was felt great to find some popular oldies like “I’ll Make Love To You” by Boyz II Men and “Wannabe” by the Spice Girls on the American Reunion soundtrack list. These songs sure bring back memories of the 90′s. I can picture myself driving around with this soundtrack playing through the car stereo. Fun! Fun! Fun!

With American Reunion’s release getting closer and hype beginning to climax, the moguls out there haven’t stopped pushing it to new heights. Watching Jim take out his chair or hop on his moms table to screw a pie was pretty raunchy 10 years ago, and paved the way for some of the crudest shows and movies to take things even further, and MTV’s Jersey Shore is certainly no exception. Consistently shocking but somehow always endearing, the powers that be have teamed up the lovable class of 1999 with the cast of Jersey Shore for a full blown Stifler-in-a-gay-bar style dance off.

The cast partied like it was 1999 at the Grauman’s Chinese Theater on Monday, and it was as if they had all never been apart.

Eugene Levy, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Natasha Lyonne, Alyson Hannigan, Jason Biggs, Chris Klein, Tara Reid, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Mena Suvari, Seann William Scott, Jennifer Coolidge and Shannon Elizabeth all strolled the red carpet and posed for pictures before the event.

Metacafe interviewer Matt Zaller gets the chance to ask the American Reunion cast what the fans can expect from the up and coming American Pie Reunion flick. Asking the tough questions and digging deep into what makes this slice, the best. American Reunion will be out in theaters, April 6th.

In the comedy American Reunion, all the American Pie characters we met a little more than a decade ago return to East Great Falls for their high-school reunion. In one long-overdue weekend, they will discover what has changed, who hasn’t and that time and distance can’t break the bonds of friendship.

It was summer 1999 when four small-town Michigan boys began a quest to lose their virginity. In the years that have passed, Jim and Michelle married while Kevin and Vicky said goodbye. Oz and Heather grew apart, but Finch still longs for Stifler’s mom. Now these lifelong friends have come home as adults to reminisce about—and get inspired by—the hormonal teens who launched a comedy legend.
