American Sweetheart Alyson Hannigan has assured eager Pie fanatics that the up and coming move: American Reunion will not disappoint.
Alyson Hannigan, shot to fame in the first American Pie when she played nympho band-geek Michelle Flaherty, and joined Jason Biggs for a second and a third helping of Pie. She is back with the entire cast for what is to be the fourth American Pie film. The actress told us that all of the original stars from the first film are back together and are totally at ease, despite the fact that some of them haven’t seen each other for nearly 10 years.
“It’s been hilarious. It really did feel like a reunion,” Hannigan told Parade. “The great thing about that cast is we all had such great chemistry.”
She continued: “Even though you sort of lose touch, the moment you get back together it’s as if no time has passed whatsoever. Everybody’s having a blast. I really think it’s going to be as funny as the first one.”
Hannigan also mentioned that there might be a storm cloud brewing for Jim and Michelle, and that American Reunion will address the relationship between the two of them, as they try and reignite the spark in their marriage, and let’s not forget they’re now parents!
“They’re just navigating the waters of being parents and trying to not put their relationship on the back burner. They’re going to the reunion to try to get some of that back, but of course hijinks ensue,” she added. “There’s going to be hilarious situations that will not disappoint the fans.”
American Reunion, which is also staring Jim’s first love interest Nadia (Shannon Elizabeth) and Jim’s dad (played by Eugene Levy), will be released in UK and US cinemas in April 2012.

I hope this movie doesn’t disappoint. I really didn’t like the fact that Oz was left out of the wedding movie. I feel like he should have been there. I guess, to me, the main storyline is the friendship between the four guys, and maybe now Stifler. I would really like to see that be a main point in this “slice of pie”. Have the guys end with a strong friendship. I would love to see that.

Final Ms. Hannigan got to join the cast this would have been a disgraceful film without her she made the first one absolutely hysterical. The subsequent films were OK but really just got out of control from the original storyline. Now that their all back together I hope that Michele and Jim find love again and the film is not disgraced.

I can’t wait for this! I’ve loved all of the American Pie original cast films so far, (I haven’t the the American Pie Presents films) and I cannot wait for this one! It sounds just as funny as the other three.
